Benelux Sales Office Manager

Nikwax, the leading international manufacturer of waterproofing products for outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, requires a Sales Office Manager to join our Benelux Sales team.

The Role

You will lead the efficient administration of the Benelux sales processes, including order processing, order confirmation, invoicing and coordination with our logistic partners. You will ensure the Sales Team, and yourself provide excellent customer service and ongoing support through telephone and e-mail contact, store visits and attendance at trade and consumer shows.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records through the regular use of the company CRM system and liaison with both UK departments and our Benelux partners. The role requires the monitoring of discount structures and ensuring compliance with sales policies.

Reporting to the Head of Benelux Sales, the role requires someone who is confident to manage the team when required. You will work from our sites in Dordrecht and Leusden.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a driven individual, both diligent and organised. You will have a clear understanding of the importance of customer service and be able to work well both as part of a team and under your own initiative. You will be a numerate individual with an eye for detail, with good communication skills (both written and verbal).

Strong leadership, good sales skills and experience of working in the Outdoor or Sports Industry are required to fulfil this role.

Excellent Dutch and English language skills are essential, with knowledge of French being an additional advantage.

Benelux Sales Representative

Nikwax, the leading international manufacturer of waterproofing products for outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, requires a Sales Representative to join our Benelux Sales team.

The Role

As a Nikwax Sales Representative you will build relationships with buyers and retail staff to promote brand loyalty and optimise sales. This will include training of sales staff, through in-store training and online programmes, in order to increase product knowledge and sell through as well as exploring merchandising opportunities.

The role requires accurate analysis of sales data in order to identify weaknesses and opportunities and target them appropriately. You will report to the Head of Benelux Sales with regular feedback on customers and general market activity.

You will attend trade and consumer events as well as develop new leads, to support the growth of the business across the Benelux area.

The Person

You will be organised and personable individual with the drive to see things through to a conclusion. An ability to prioritise and excellent time-management skills are essential.

You will give exemplary customer service and be easily able to demonstrate your sales aptitude. You will have experience of the outdoor trade and preferably a love for the outdoors. You will be preferably based in, or with easy access to, the northern region of The Netherlands.

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), a full clean driving license and good IT skills.

The successful candidate will be a fluent Dutch speaker with good verbal and written English Language skills.

Laboratory Technician

Nikwax, a leading international manufacturer of waterproofing products for clothing, footwear and outdoor equipment, requires a Laboratory Technician to join our Product Development team, based on the Kent/East Sussex borders.

The Role

The role requires you to carry out laboratory work on a variety of new products and components. You will be responsible for running development trials on pilot plant equipment, through to routine testing of Nikwax products, fabrics and competitor products. You will be involved with the products from conception through to manufacture, allowing you to see your work have real impact. You will be responsible for timely testing and reporting of results, as well as maintaining a culture of good laboratory practice.

The Person

You will be a systematic, thorough and organised individual, with a minimum of a Scientific A level (or equivalent).

Previous experience working in a laboratory would be an advantage although training will be offered.

UK Technical Sales Representative (South)

Nikwax, a leading international manufacturer of waterproofing products for clothing, footwear and outdoor equipment, requires a UK Technical Sales Representative (South) to join our UK Sales team.

The Role

As the UK Technical Sales Representative (South) you will be responsible for managing your own accounts and dealing with both regional and national accounts to optimise sales. You will identify new business opportunities and also develop business with existing customers. You will also train sales staff (either with in-store training or through the promotion of online tools).

Key areas of responsibility will include analysing sales data to identify opportunities and develop strategies to address them and reporting to the Head of HQ Sales with feedback on customers and general market activity.

You will be required to attend trade and consumer events.

The Person

You will be an enthusiastic and results orientated individual with an eye for detail.

You will be passionate about customer service and will be able to demonstrate your sales aptitude. In addition you will be organised with good communication skills (both written and verbal); strong problem solving abilities; be calm under pressure and use your initiative to prioritise your own workload.

The successful candidate will have a full clean driving license, experience of the outdoor trade, demonstrable field sales experience and excellent IT skills.
